Captain Riley was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, and grew up surrounded by the Atlantic ocean. At the start of his career, Riley worked on large motor yachts with high end clients from around the world, ranging from celebrities to business leaders and entrepreneurs. His sense of adventure also took him across the Atlantic Ocean on a 200ft modern sailing yacht, and saw him completing the 2017 Rolex Fastnet race onboard a high performance Whitbread sailing yacht. Joining the charter industry for the past five years, Captain Riley has inside knowledge of sailing places such as the Balearic Islands, navigating the Mediterranean seas, and of course island hopping in the beautiful Caribbean waters. Riley tailors each charter to the needs of the clients, ensuring a safe voyage, while the guests relax and enjoy their vacation.
Chef Risa grew up in New York City, and is no stranger to the adventures of international cuisine. Traveling to over 50 countries in the past ten years, Risa is passionate about finding the freshest local ingredients and creating unique dishes that combine classic fare with innovative flavors. With over fifteen years in the hospitality industry, and almost a decade of yacht chef experience, in places ranging from the Mediterranean to South East Asia to the Caribbean - she’s always working to create new dishes that are custom tailored to excite the palates of her guests.
Chief Stewardess and Massage Therapist Rita was born and raised in Hungary, but her passion for travel led her to voyaging around the world, including exotic locations such as Thailand, Bali, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Her life goal of helping people, made her trade in her office job to become a full time massage therapist, working with clients at internationally renowned hotels and spas. Combining her passions for travel and massage, it was just a matter of time before the yachting industry became her calling. Nothing makes Rita happier than seeing relaxed and happy guests onboard, and she’s always ready to provide the extra touches that make a vacation special.

Traveling to over 50 countries in the past ten years, Risa is passionate about finding the freshest local ingredients and creating unique dishes that combine classic fare with innovative flavors. With over fifteen years in the hospitality industry, and almost a decade of yacht chef experience, in places ranging from the Mediterranean to South East Asia to the Caribbean - she’s always working to create new dishes that are custom tailored to excite the palates of her guests. <br /> <br /> Chief Stewardess and Massage Therapist Rita was born and raised in Hungary, but her passion for travel led her to voyaging around the world, including exotic locations such as Thailand, Bali, Hawaii, and the Virgin Islands. Marcus was knowledgeable about hot spots in the BVI’s and set a wonderful itinerary for us, reviewing the plans with us and changing them on the fly if necessary. Sara’s meals were creative and delicious. She catered to our dietary needs,effortlessly. We truly looked forward to each and every meal.<br /> <br /> 2. Was the yacht comfortable and clean? <br /> It was both beautiful and clean. One of the things we particularly liked was the spaciousness of the deck space with ample seating areas to find a quiet spot if needed. We loved the top deck and it’s 360 degree view.<br /> <br /> 3. Was the yacht well ventilated? <br /> Yes there was always a spot to find a cool breeze and the air conditioning in the cabins at night was wonderful<br /> <br /> 4. Was the food good and well presented? <br /> Sara’s food was like a top quality restaurant. she catered to 2 of our gluten free guests and vegetarian also. The dishes were both delicious and beautifully presented.<br /> <br /> 5. Did you like the area you sailed? <br /> The BVI’s are amazing! You’re never too far from land and the water and weather were sublime. We especially loved the times that we sailed including our 2 hour sail to the remote island Anegada. The snorkeling was amazing and Marcus brought us to places that allowed to see sea life we had never before seen.<br /> <br /> 6. Marcus approached us each morning with a plan or idea, and it always worked out great. We LOVED it, truly!<br /> First, your assurances about the crew were spot on, they were just great. Marcus is such an experienced sailor and extremely competent, really excellent. Both of them have a very mature way of seeing things and are committed to having the guests have what they want and have a good time. in addition they were gracious hosts, really beyond their years (offering drinks, refilling coffee, attending to details...)<br /> <br /> Jonathan and I are both cooks, Jonathan a gourmet cook. We loved Sara's cooking, she did an amazing job. Three full meals per day, attending to freshness, color, texture, taste, in addition she was creative. I took photos of many of the meals because they were so aesthetically pleasing. She clearly had been guided by our preferences, and cooked to them. She baked outrageous desserts as well, OMG!<br /> <br /> The boat was in excellent shape. It was clean, the bathrooms cleaned daily, beds made for us (!), the beds were comfortable. There was adequate space so that the 3 couples could all be separate to read or talk, and the space comfortable for the 6 of us to eat.<br /> <br /> The itinerary was built by Marcus on the basis of what we wanted to do . We made the plan the night before mostly, in a group discussion. We found great places to snorkel and paddle board, really nice sailing legs where we could enjoy the wind and the sea. The pace was perfect because Marcus paced it to our wishes. From tuna poke to eggs diablo to pork belly tacos, the food was varied, delicious, and beautiful! She accommodated a food allergy and our kids when they had special requests (which were rare because they loved her food too) and she even put them to work, prepping ingredients and setting the table. She did all this with an effervescent joy despite struggling with a boat kitchen that was less than ideal. Right away he showed us around the yacht, which in itself is amazing: plenty of space to move about, seek privacy, lounge comfortably, sleep like a baby, and even take a refreshing shower. Marcus exceeded our expectations as the captain of our vacation and Karizma!<br /> <br /> Marcus patiently and graciously showed us the ropes and gave us the opportunity to pitch in with sailing as we desired. We hold him in high regard and find ourselves missing his company now that the trip has come to an end.<br /> <br /> Our days felt easy, revolving around what we wanted to do, with no rushing or pressure. Captain Marcus gave us solid advice and told many a story about the BVIs both from natural and historical perspectives as well as the real truth about living there. He enabled us to get a genuine feel for the life many of us only dream of. Marcus personally led us on hikes, and took us to amazing spots we likely wouldn't find on our own. From Tarpon feeding on Saba Rock, extraordinary banana daiquiris, a tour of Anegada by truck complete with a picnic on a beautiful secluded beach and many more.<br /> <br /> We left the yacht feeling we had a satisfying mix of pleasure, relaxation and adventure.
